DESCRIPTION:The Xeric Garden Club of New Mexico presents “Integrating Medicinal and Culinary Herbs in Your Garden” presented by Dianne Rand. This is a free presentation open to the public. \n\n\n\nJoin Dianne Rand for this presentation about planting useful medicinal herbs in your garden. Dianne recommends choosing “a few fresh herbs to cook with every day and a few medicinals for regular use in teas\, infusions or tinctures. Boost your immune system and stabilize your well being. Native plants will easily cohabitate with herbs and herbs love the pollinators. It’s a win-win for everyone.” Join us and learn what other advice Dianne will have for incorporating medicinal herbs in your garden. \n\n\n\nDianne is a member of the Xeric Garden Club and has been working with plants and plant medicine for 30 years.

SUMMARY:Xeric Habitat Garden Maintenance
DESCRIPTION:Hands-on education with the xeric plants of our garden!   Please bring water\, sun hat\, garden tools\, dandelion digger\, a lawn/leaf bag\, & broom. You are welcome to bring pots to take home plants we may need to dig up. Please note locations of the risers of our new drip system and avoid stepping on them or their hoses. Report any broken risers or drippers & plants that need attention.  \n\n\n\nFeel free to come spontaneously\, but it’s also much appreciated if you can volunteer using the link below\, so we can organize volunteers accordingly. We always have a great time and occasionally socialize afterwards at a nearby restaurant. Open to the public. Come join us!
